Duties and Authorities
•    Managing and monitoring the proper implementation of all educational and graduate policies, regulations and procedures of university in accordance with the laws, approvals, regulations and executive bylaws in line with expanding the graduate courses approach;
•    Developing plans for the educational affairs and postgraduate studies with the cooperation of the relevant sections, monitoring the proper implementation of duties by the affiliated sections, implementing the educational programs and activities of each faculty, assessing and evaluating, and submitting the necessary report to the Board of Directors;
•    Monitoring and evaluating the educational performance of students, faculty members and head of different departments in each semester, reporting the results to the Chancellor and announcing the evaluation results to the faculty members;
•    Implementing short-term educational programs and in-service training courses;
•    Developing educational plans in line with the perspective document and the comprehensive scientific map of the country;
•    Contributing to the organization of empowerment and knowledge enhancement courses;
•    Evaluating and reviewing the content of curriculum in order to make the necessary updates, improving the efficiency of the faculty members, and recognizing enrichment and value oriented approach;
•    Developing plans to improve the students' specialized and scientific skills;
•    Notifying approvals, regulations and bylaws communicated to the relevant units by the Chancellor as well as pursuing and supervising their proper implementation;
•    Presenting the necessary feasibility and justificatory reports to the Chancellor of the university regarding the duties of the sections operated under the Chancellery's supervision; 
•    Supervising the affiliated sections in order to make sure that the duties are properly implemented;
•    Suggesting qualified people to the Chancellor to hold managerial positions for Vice-Chancelleries;
•    Collaboration with the other Vice-Chancellors in order to make sure the proper implementation of the university programs;
•    Performing the other tasks assigned by the Chancellor of the university.
