Introduction to the Committee for Free and Virtual Education of Jahrom University
As the main trustees of education, universities are the forerunners of training efficient manpower for the different needs of the job market and society. Accordingly, one of the significant tasks of universities is the skillful and educational empowerment of different segments of society, especially students and university graduates, in order to enhance the specialized and applied capacities and capabilities of different fields of study. Moreover, universities are responsible for addressing the needs and demands of organizations and executive bodies in line with providing professional and functional educations to them. Therefore, considering the limitations of the existing capacities in the official educational system, the creation, development and diversification of the unofficial general and specialized education is essential at university. This task is carried out in the form of free education at universities. Consequently, aiming at enhancing the scientific level and specialties of manpower, free education is implemented in universities. The educations and training are established based on relying on faculties, expert forces, the proper educational facilities and equipment as well as considering the real demands of job market including industry, agriculture and state services. Objectives of the Committee for Free and Virtual Education:
The Committee for Free and Virtual Education of the University has been established with the purposes of creating a proper groundwork among the university, job market and industry. This aims at training efficient manpower, increasing professional skills and expanding scientific activities. Moreover, the other goals set by the committee are:
- Helping the students to improve their level of knowledge and specialized skills
- Providing the skillful and educational needs of educational centers, service centers, industries, commercial centers, etc.
- Developing and updating the general skills and knowledge of the society
- Organizing workshops, seminars and other educational-cultural activities.
